Wireless connection drops when printer is turned on.

I'm very new to the wireless world and I just had a wireless network hooked up. I have HP desktop computer which is wireless, using a 2wire usb wireless adapter. I have a HP 2575 all-in-one printer connected through a usb port on my desktop computer. Everytime I turn on my printer I lose my wireless connection. I turn off the computer my wireless connection comes back. The wireless router is in another room and I can't put the router in the same room as the desktop and the Printer. Can anyone help me?
