Wireless not connectin in Windows XP Home
I have an hp pavillion ze4400 with an interneal wireless card. When I first bootup the machine into Windows XP Home, my WLAN is not being recognized. I have all the settings inputted correctly into the WLAN configuration panel, and I can connect, but I have to follow these steps:
Right-click on the Wireless Network Connection icon in the system tray, select "View Available Wireless Networks" click "Advanced..." click "Refresh". After this, it will connect. Also, I have no problems when switching users, only when the Wireless card is first enabled by Windows after a startup or reboot.
My question: How can I make it connect automatically? I am having no problems with this using an IBM Thinkpad with integrated wireless, and an older Compaq laptop with an external Linksys PCMCIA wireless card.
