WL 300 and Xp drivers

At last the XP drivers for WL 100 is here, but what about WL300?
Or is it not needed in XP? I want to wireless connect a laptop to a internet connected pc, and use this as an access point.

Thanks for your answers!

Re: WL 300 and Xp drivers

WL300 for WinXP

After inserting wl200 card, when XP boots and detects new hardware do NOT let XP install software automatically. select don't search I will choose the driver to install. select you want to install a network card select have disk (point to the setup folder where you put wl300 and NETNDC2K.INF file) install driver disregarding all the XP complaints about the driver.

SoftPaq SP15583.exe is at http://www.compaq.com/support/files/networking/wlan/WL200.html

Next install wl300 software from the setup directory as usual but DO NOT reboot the system. When prompted, select restart manually later. click "start", click "run", type "msconfig" and click "OK". go to the "Startup" tab an un-check "Configuration Utility" C:\Compaq\11MBPS~2\config.exe" click "ok" Restart the system when prompted.
