What's New in June 2022 - HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management
What's New in June 2022
Baseline Firmware Update Report—When you update server or server group firmware, the new Baseline Firmware Update Report is available from the server details page of all affected servers. The report lists general update details and the updated components with version information and update status (Ok or Failed). The report is available until another firmware update is completed.
HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management RESTful API support—Compute Ops Management supports a northbound RESTful API for managing servers programmatically or through a command line.
To use the RESTful API to perform a management operation on a server, you must associate the server with an active Enhanced tier subscription in HPE GreenLake. For instructions, see the HPE GreenLake for Compute Ops Management Getting Started Guide.
To learn more about using the RESTful API with Compute Ops Management, see the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website (developer.greenlake.hpe.com).
Critical hardware issue notifications—Server groups now support email notifications when Compute Ops Management receives a critical hardware issue from iLO. An example of a critical issue is power supply AC power loss.
Users can enable notifications individually for one group at a time during the group creation or editing process. Notifications are sent to the email address that is associated with the user that is creating or editing the server group. Multiple users can receive notifications for the same group.
Notifications are supported for servers with iLO 5 2.70 or later and an active Enhanced subscription.
