10GB 5930 Switch
Hi there,
I have a few devices whos NICs are only 100MB, and I need to get them connected to my 10GB 5930 Switch. Is this at all possible?
I haven't been able to get it to work.
Thank you

Re: 10GB 5930 Switch
AFAIK each 10-GE Copper port on a HPE FlexFabric 5930 Switch series should support only port speeds set to, respectively, 100, 1000, 10000 or auto (numerical values are in Mbps)...so you should be able to set a port speed to 100 Mbps using the specific speed 100 CLI command (or using the speed auto command if the speed auto-negotiation feature works correctly/is enabled on the peer end) on specific interfaces where connected Host's NIC is capable - at best - to run at 100 Mbps (Fast Ethernet).
I'm not an HPE Employee

Re: 10GB 5930 Switch
I did try limiting the port speed to 100, but it said "Such configuration is not supported".
