2824-SFP+: Wrong uptime when querying by SNMP
I have a Baseline 2924-SFP+ switch. When displaying the summary page on the switch's web interface, the reported uptime is "29 days, 0 hours, 5 minutes, 15 seconds". However when querying the switch over SNMP, the reported uptime is completely different, ie:
C:\usr\bin>snmpget -v1 -c public sw-ds-eg2 sysUpTime.0
DISMAN-EVENT-MIB::sysUpTimeInstance = Timeticks: (25057010) 2 days, 21:36:31.70
This command was executed within less than five seconds after the web interface page was updated. The SNMP reported time is precisely 1/10th of the time reported on the web interface. When issuing a couple of SNMP queries in certain intervals, the reported uptime also seems to be slowed down by a factor of 10, ie it increases by one second every ten seconds. Seems to be a bug, right? I have the latest firmware version installed (01.00.07).
Cheers, marcos
PS: the thread title is wrong as it's a 2924-SFP+ switch, sorry for that.
