3Com 3C16410

I am having trouble connecting a 3Com 3C16410 switch to a Comcast Cisco business modem/router. When I plug the switch into the router and then the computers to the switch the computers do not see the switch. I get the message that the network cable is missing. The computers and network work when plugged directly into the modem/ router.


Can anyone help?
