3com 5500G-E1 stacking failed
I have few unit of 3com 5500G-E1. Last few week 1 of the switch faulty and I have replace it with new unit. When replacement unit installed it unable to communicate with older unit using stacking cable eventhough its running fine. From what I see is the unit have different hardware version. Is there any other reasons causing the switch failed to stack? Can it be fixed? Anyone have idea.

Re: 3com 5500G-E1 stacking failed
Check the sysname of the new unit. All the units need to have exactly the same sysname. I suggest you to check the file system in all units also, in order to see if all the files are the same and if the configuration files are well synchronized.
