3Com SuperStack 3 Switch 4400 SE
Hi guys,
i have a problem regarding 3com switch. Here I am reading to a config generated by it and i come to the spanning tree section. One section says:
#--------------------------------------------------------------
# FEATURE SAFE BACKUP SECTION
#--------------------------------------------------------------
bridge spanningTree stpState enable
but then i scroll down and 50 lines later the other section says:
#--------------------------------------------------------------
# BRIDGE SPANNINGTREE SECTION
#--------------------------------------------------------------
bridge spanningTree stpVersion 2
bridge spanningTree stpDefaultPathCost 1
bridge spanningTree stpPriority 32768
bridge spanningTree stpState disable
So I just keep wondering what is the stp state? Is it on or not? How is it possible that there a 2 commands contradicting each other in one config file?
Thanks for helping! :)
Best regards,
John
