4500G tracert timeout

Hello,

I have a 4500G connected to several VLANs, three with IP address.

When I use tracert from any network through the switch, it doesn't respond.

When I ping it, it responds.

Why?

What do I need to change for it to respond in a tracert?

Try to implement these commands:

ip unreachables enable

ip ttl-expires enable

Re: 4500G tracert timeout

Well, I got "the function i enabled" twice, but no change in behavior.

  1     *        *        *     Request timed out.

  2    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  200.0.0.226

  1     *        *        *     Request timed out.

  2     3 ms     2 ms     2 ms  192.168.6.6

  3     1 ms     2 ms     2 ms  200.0.1.8

  1     *        *        *     Request timed out.

  2    <1 ms    <1 ms    <1 ms  200.0.0.104

  3     6 ms     6 ms     7 ms  192.168.7.4

  4     7 ms     7 ms     7 ms  200.0.2.251

Any other ideas?

I do dislike having to wait three thousand milli-seconds for a computer. 8^]
