5920af add IRF member

Hello,

we already use a single 5920af in one of our racks and want to add a second as IRF member to get a little bit of redundancy.

I would like to use the interfaces 1/0/6 and 1/0/18 as irf ports, but when i want to configure them, i get the error that i should shutdown several other ports. But these ports are used and i can't shutdown.

Check failed for reason:
Shut down the four interfaces Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/5 to Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/8.

Can anybody help me?

Ok i found the problem.

On the 5920 there are four physical Interfaces connected to one ASIC, all four ports in one group have to be either IRF ports or all normal ethernet ports.
