Re: 802.1X configuration for wired authentication
Hi, its quite simple. I also hit my head on this issue by ready many documents and blogs. Finally I've done it successfully.
Would you please share your scenario and the infrastructure with the configuration. I will send you the configuration file with modification.
Regards
Faisal

Re: 802.1X configuration for wired authentication
I suppose you have a Windows NPS.
You have to add the RADIUS server to the access switches and configure each port to use EAP RADIUS. The other configuration is on the NPS, you need to add each access switch as a RADIUS client and configure your different policies.
Do you have procurve or comware access switches?
Edit:
Don't forget to activate the "automatic configuration (cabled)" service on your Windows hosts. This service activates 802.1X authentication for Windows and is disabled by default.
