Active-active bonding of servers between switches
Dear list,
we have a 3com 3848 and 4500G which are connected by 802.3ad (3x1Gbit).
I would like to attach Linux servers for a HA setup to both switches. Active-backup works, but I did not succeed with 802.3ad or TLB. I get lots of network hickups. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I think the ARP tables in the switches get confused.
Is there a way to make such a setup work reliably?
We think about buying a 4200G anyway. Would it work in a stacked cluster between the 4500G and the 4200G?
Thanks in advance!
