Another SFP in the Switch4800G

Hi,



Can I use in the Switch4800G(24 port 100/1000 SFP) another SFP modules, for example CareLink 100Base-FX SFP module?



Module-CL-SFP-31-2/155.



Will it be working?



I understand the risks. What will happen in that case?

There´s no coding check on the 3Com. I am happily running Cisco, HP, Longshine, Netgeat coded SFPs on the 3COM.
