Blocking UDP traffic on a 4500G
Currently I am trying to block UDP traffic on a 4500G swtich, that has been upgraded to the latest firmware and bootrom (5.02p2, 5.01) Currently I have in place is a storm-constrain control to block UDP when they go above a threshold of 1% ratio, 1kbps, or 1 pps. When I run Ethereal, it shows approximately 15% of the traffice going through is UDP. The UDP traffic consists of small packets right around the 1.3 KB area. My intentions are to completely BLOCK all UDP traffic on certain ports. I scoured through the manual for UDP blocking, protocl blocking, and have not been able to come up with anything. My next guess would be to create an ACL that states to not allow UDP traffic. Any help would be appreciated.
