Can't ping on same VLAN

Hi,

 

I have setup a new VLAN on our 5406zl switch. I have two machines, one on port 12 and the other on port 14.

 

I have ensured that these ports are not in any other VLANs but this one. When they are set as untagged they can ping each other fine, but as soon as you make them tagged they can't ping each other?!

 

IP addresses are 10.1.2.x/16, any ideas?!

Thats clear. Your clients dont support vlan/tagging.

What's the purpose of your configuration?
