I was going through my spare routers and I discovered what thought was a JC772A switch was actually a JG554A switch. It shows on the label as being TAA compliant. Can someone maybe save me the hassle of having to order another JC772A? Are the specs of the two switches identical? I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks

Hi, theoretically the only difference between:
are basically identical (at Hardware level): the only difference should be the software image loaded which is TAA on the latter and non-TAA on the former (this difference doesn't force you to not use a non-TAA software release on a JG554A).
Thanks Parnassus, I am going to assume I can use the same SFP's as well?
Unfortunately I am finding no Quickspecs page for the JG554A.
Thanks for your help parnassus. I appreciate it.
Basically, it's pretty much the same or similar...
