Enable Routing

Hello,

 

I have a site where they have a HP Procurve 5406zl and they are on a totally flat network (i.e. no vlans, no routing etc), all there switches are connected via the uplinks on vlan 1.

 

I plan to re-do there network soon but wanted to try and do some bits in the background on the core, IP Routing is turned off at present but I wanted to know if I enabled IP Routing will this have any issues on the network?

If you only enable routing, there's no impact. But it is up to you what you configure next. :-)
