Probably 3Com 4210 Switch Series was the HP 3100 SI (v1) Dwitch Series which wad based on Comware 3.10 as the 3Com...not totally sure (I should carefully verify) about the name change...but try to look here:

and compare the current running Firmware with the one available for "HP A3100-24 SI Switch with 2 Slots" (24 ports + 2 Slots = 26 of 4210-26?).

Can you share with us the 3Com or HPE part number and Serial number?  It's a little hard to know what you have without that information.  I can look it up for you.

For example, if you had a 4210G (Gigabit switch), that is related to the 4510G and a 5120 EI.  All of them run Comware 5.

We have a lot of switch products.  In order to proceed I need to know exactly what you have.  You can also get that information from the swtich with the display version and diaplay device manuinfo commands.

Perfect!  That's what I needed!  That 3CR17333-91 is a JE026A switch.

I didn't realize that that was such an old switch.  It is Comware 3.

Hi Ali-Asim!

Just be careful about what code you choose.  Look at the release notes to ensure that your model is supported by the code you download.  A 4210 "A" is different than a non-A version.  Also follow the upgrade instructions in the release notes to the letter.

FYI... a 3CR17333A is also a JF427A
