Re: HCL Simulator

Thank you for correct link, @-Alex-

Nevertheless our forum has very powerful search, so it is always good idea to use it before posting redundant messages. We are always happy to help, but everybody benefits from search as a fast and direct access to our knowledge base built here.

Re: HCL Simulator

Hello @ ManishChawda

HPE 5510 and 1950 both uses comware OS.
HPE 1950 is more on GUI so HCL simulator not be much useful.

You can download HPE HCL simulator by below link:

Moreover for realtime experience you can try to use Comware in EVE-NG which will give more features of Comware OS.

Thanks!

Re: HCL Simulator

@akg7 As a user who uses EVE-NG since UNL times (good old days) I need to say that I am afraid EVE-NG is not very different from GNS3 and again it is just a wrapper for QEMU/KVM if we speak about technical side of virtualization. It doesn't even have Virtualbox and VMware hypervisors support, only QEMU/KVM. And the only Comware 7 image you can run there is VSR1000 router which is a typical NFV and it won't give you much experience for switches, as switching features are almost nonexistent in that product.

Otherwise I stand with @akg7 and strongly suggest VSR1000 for general Comware 7 experience and of course for routing features it is great.
