Help with IRF in switch E4800.....

Hi

I want configure IRF in E4800 version A5500EI-CMW520-R2215 l have two E4800 switch and two 10-GbE CX4 Module JD360B  and one stacking cable do I need one more or not and what the configure l need to do so it will work ??

It's normally recommended to have two cables so that you have a ring rather than just a chain. Don't forget to configure MAD BFD as well!

That varies from model to model, but there should be an IRF configuration guide for your switch which will take you through it step by step.

the l see the IRF configuration guide but it for the old update S4800G-CMW520-R2202P15 not the new same commanad is change I can't find the next cammanad ((irf member 1 irf-port 1 port 2)) in the new update (5500.EI_4800G_R2215) what l do ???

Two-chassis IRF fabric can only be daisy chained.

Apologies for my inaccuracy, it is not a true ring, but the daisy chain can have redundant links with dual cables.
