HP 5120-24g Radius settings with Cisco ACS 5.0
Hello, I now have a mixed cisco and hp environment. For device admin I use Cisco ACS applience. Tacacs+ for Cisco kit and Radius for the HP switches.
I want to be able to set login for admins to the Priv level 3 and service desk to Priv level 1. I can authenticate users fine, but I cannot get the PRIV level to set. I am using the EITF service type 'nas-prompt' and 'administrator'.
This works on procurve switches via Cisco ACS. The only thing I can think of is that HP have made this setting proprietory to thier own managment platform iMC. Documentation states you need to use the radius command server-type extended to facilitate this.
I assumed HP H3C would be using 'open' protocols.
Have I missed somthing here and can someone please confirm one way or another if the Priv setting can be used ?
Many thanks
