HP 5120SI local auth

Dear all,

I have a problem with local authentication on my HP 5120SI switches. everything works well, when i use password authentication for console and telnet login, but if i configure local users and apply scheme authentication for vty access, authentication fails. I try telnet access and username/password pair fails. Of course Web access doesn't work.

Has anyone got the same situation ?  Any solution?

Try changing service-type to 'ssh telnet terminal' instead of just terminal, since you dont have authentication-mode scheme on the aux port.
