HP 5900 Port Mirroring from Bridge-Aggregation Port

Hi everyone,

I need to monitor traffic from Bridge-Aggregation Port on HP 5900 Switch. Nothing happen when i specific source port of mirroring group is Bridge-Aggregation Port. But when i specific the dest port the error below show up :

"The type of the mirroring port in the mirroring group is not supported"

HP 5900 Switch doesn't support mirror traffic from Bridge-Aggregation Port or i config wrong ?

Can anyone please kindly give me an example about mirror traffic from Bridge-Aggregation Port

Hello

Try to mirror the interfaces in the bridge-aggregation. i think you can only mirror traffic on interface level and not on bridge level.

So if you have 2 interfaces in 1 Bridge, you should configurate mirroring on those 2 interfaces and not on the bridge-aggregation.
