HP A5500 HI Switch configuration backup

Hi Team,

I have to automate the configuration backup of my switches & save the configuration file on my windows or linux machin, from where i login to my HP Switches.

 

I use PLINK for my Cisco Routers but its not working for HP Switches. Hence plz let me know any way through which i can take backup of HP A5500 HI switch.

Hi,

We use rancid: http://www.shrubbery.net/rancid/ as it is fully customisable.

We backup, both our Cisco / Juniper and HP Devices.
