H3C S5820X-28S Latest Firmware required, cannot find ref to the -28S model in release notes

 Hi again,

Regards to the H3C Switch DEVICE_NAME: S5820X-28S, applying logic from my previous answered query I have found the release notes to the nearest HP match for the Switch which is HP 5820X-24XG-SFP+ Switch. However there is no mention of my device in the notes.

Can anyone advise what the latest firmware is & where. 

If it helps it is using Comware Software, Version 5.20, Release 1110P05

According to this documentation: http://h17007.www1.hpe.com/device_help/H3C-manuals/miscellaneous/HPASeriesSwitchesBrandMigrationFeatureGuide.pdf H3C S5820X have been renamed to HP A5280X.

So, I guess that the latest firmware available for your device is here: https://h10145.www1.hpe.com/Downloads/SoftwareReleases.aspx?ProductNumber=JG243B&lang=en,en&cc=us,us&prodSeriesId=4177501

Just in case you worried about "breakin" the device, there is nothing to worry about, as you can configure a backup boot firmware and if the main firmware you install is not compatible, the switch will tell you at boot time :-)
