HP firmware?
HI guys I have a H3C switch and there is also a tag on the box says HP A5500-48G SI. When I get console login to the box the CLI is totally different from the Procurve. Can anybody give me a step by step guide for how to upgrade the firmware to something more like HP Procurve CLI?
I am a Cisco guy and do not have much experience with HP Procurve.

Re: HP firmware?
There is no upgrade to Procurve CLI. The A-series switches is the H3C/3Com switches and they run ComWare OS.
This is a great start though: http://tinyurl.com/3fwxhlr

Re: HP firmware?
But it's a completely different OS, and HP have shown no signs of trying to integrate the two OSes yet. (Though i hope very much that they do.)
