HP Multicasting
Is HP Multicasting is not as powerful as Cisco? We have HP 7500 and HP 5500 HI series witches where we enabled Multicasting with IGMP snooping. As soon as we enabled Multicasting/IGMP Snooping, it started flooding.
I believe it is a configuration issue, but couldn't find any good document to fix the problem.
I have not seen this kind of behavior with Cisco 6500 series switches.
I will post the configurations if needed.
Please advise!

Re: HP Multicasting
Have you worked out which switch you want to be the querier and disabled all the others from becoming querier?

Re: HP Multicasting
Hi,
the comware multicast feature set is quite extensive, so it probably relates to configuration it correctly.
Can you post your (cleaned) Cisco config and the HP config, then we can compare and see what is missing,
Best regards,Peter
