HP Networking Devices in 3D - AVAILABLE NOW!
Hi All,
We have created interactive 3D models of some of our Switches. These models let the customers examine products in a virtual, three-dimensional environment, with the ability to rotate, zoom, measure, and interact with the “key” features and options.
- Realism: The digital product looks just like the actual product
- Behavior: The digital product behaves the same way as the actual product (i.e.: doors open, components removed, processes shown).
The content/app is available in the Android/iOS/Amazon appstore (search for "HP Networking devices in 3d") and also can be run both locally and through web on any PC device by clicking, "Run Online/Web".
We'll be removing/replacing/adding more devices and the app will be updated just like any other app running on your devices. The goal is to add routers, aruba devices to the pool too.
The Front view of each device gives you an overview. The Rear view provides the specifications. The yellow pointers are called hotspots and clicking on them gives information about that specific port. The "Explore Product Animations" allows you to pull out a certain module/power supply etc.
This is a great tool and can be used for Promotion/Deployment to Sales & Marketing Teams, Partners, Customers, Prospects through Newsletters, Flash emails, Social Media so feel free to evangelize the app as much as you can.
Thanks,
Jay

Re: HP Networking Devices in 3D - AVAILABLE NOW!
Hello!
It would be great if you shared real 3d models of your devices in STEP.
I must perform a project with 19" racks with HP switches and I can't find even 2D drawings of HP devices.

Re: HP Networking Devices in 3D - AVAILABLE NOW!
Are there any plans to share the base 3d Models? As an OEM I would like to be able to add the correct OEM badging and do something similar to what you have already.
