HP5500 - SERIAL NUMBER OF SFP MODULES

Hello everybody,

 

I want to know if it's possible,  with a command,  to find the serial number of the sfp module, which are inserted on the switch. (5500EI)

Is the command dis transceiver manuinfo available?

 

You schould get output like the one below

 

[5500-24G-4SFP-HI IRF]dis transceiver manuinfo int te 1/0/30
Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/30 transceiver manufacture information:
  Manu. Serial Number : CN18D______
  Manufacturing Date  : 2011-08-12
  Vendor Name         : HP
