HPE 5130 3208P10 - URL redirection not working

Hello,

I'm getting an issue with URL redirection. When a computer connects to a port, when user open a webpage he should get redirected to a specific webpage but it is not happening and user is able to go to the Internet.

Please find below what is applied on port :
Total connections: 1
Slot ID: 1
User MAC address: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx
Access interface: GigabitEthernet1/0/1
Username: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx
User access state: Successful
Authentication domain: prod-ise
Initial VLAN: 230
Authorization untagged VLAN: 230
Authorization tagged VLAN: N/A
Authorization VSI: N/A
Authorization ACL ID: 3005
Authorization user profile: N/A
Authorization CAR: N/A
Authorization URL: https://xxxx:8443/portal/gateway?client_mac=xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx&portal=ff737a72-7377-11e7-854f-000af77285a8&action=cwa&token=6711612ecc92ca3caed4f1816089d17e
Termination action: Default
Session timeout period: N/A
Online from: 2019/02/14 19:14:33
Online duration: 0h 0m 4s

Below ACL that is applied :

acl advanced 3005
rule 10 permit udp destination 10.67.88.20 0 destination-port eq dns
rule 15 permit ip destination 10.24.213.108 0
rule 20 permit udp destination-port eq bootps
rule 25 permit udp destination-port eq bootpc
rule 30 permit tcp destination-port eq 443
rule 35 permit tcp destination-port eq www

I also tried by blocking in ACL http and https trafic but it is also not working.

I have no idea why this isn't working.

Regards,

Eric

Hi,

Are you doing any porta'/web authentication.

The below guide has some configuration examples. Also refer the portal free rule section.

Re: HPE 5130 3208P10 - URL redirection not working

Hello,

Yes this URL is for a webauth.

As shown in my forst topic port configuration seems to be good as I'm seeing URL authorization and also ACL that is applied on port.

I'll check on provided document but I still don't understand why redirection isn't happening with applied configuration.

Regards,

Eric
