HPE 5130 ICMP Issue
Hi guys,
I have a very strane issue with a brand new HPE 5130 switch.
The configuration is super simple - VLAN1 is configured as L3 with the IP of 10.10.10.1 and there are PC's connected to this switch on the same VLAN with IP addresses ranging from 10.10.10.100 to 10.10.10.150.
When I try to ping the interface VLAN from a PC I get many drops, while pinging another computer works just fine.
What the heck?! Did you guys ever encountered such an issue?

Re: HPE 5130 ICMP Issue
I have HP8212 and Aruba 5412 with a similar issue.
From the HP8212 to a PC, printer or other IP\Layer 3 device I get 3% packet loss (Directly connected)
From the HP8212 to the Aruba 5412 over directly connected link to mgmt IP's I get 2-3% packet loss
If I ping from PC that is on a Hp8212 that links to the aruba 5412 that then is connected to the other hp8212 then to Printer I get no packet loss.
I found some articles about issues with Cisco and HPE ICMP response times and am wondering if the ICMP traffic is being resonded to fast by the layer 3 device for the HP and Aruba device causing the false packet loss.
