HPE 5945 expansion module

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the expansion modules for the 5945, specifically JH181A, are hot swappable ? I can’t find the answer anywhere on the HPE documentation and I need to install one into each chassis of 2 pair IRF member.
Thanks, Matt.

Re: HPE 5945 expansion module

Hi,

What is the produc tnumber 'JXXXXX' of HPE 5945 switch?

This module seems to be a hot swappable but need to check if it supports on HPE 5945 or not?

Re: HPE 5945 expansion module

A more broader question would be: "Do Interface Slots of HPE 5945 support hot-insertion and hot-removal of supported Interface Modules?" ...IIRC the HPE LSWM124XG2Q (JH181A) and the LSWM124XG2QL (JH180A) Interface Modules can be installed while the switch is normally running and powered on (so its Interface Slots support hot-insertion and hot-removal of those Interface Modules and those are thus generically speaking "hot-swappable").
