I can IP address in diferent vlan

Hello, I have a 3Com model 2226-SPF Plus with version OS 01.00.05 and Product 3C Number 3CBLSF26H , I created 4 vlans, but the Vlan 40 is for administration, I like to put the ip address in the vlan 40, I don´t found the opcion, Is possible to put the ip in this vlan????.
