IRF between 5820-24XG and 5120-48G switches

I need to make a stack formed by  5820-24XG and 5120-48G switches ...I cannot make IRF work

 

IRF between 5820-24XG switches working

IRF betwwen 5120-48G switches working

 

between different models not working at all... no errors showing... how can I troubleshoot ...

You can't form IRF between major models, this is pretty clearly stated in the docs I'd guess.
