Is it possible yet to apply ACLs from TFTP servers on Comware 7.1?
Hello all,
For our Cisco routers we apply ACLs from tftp servers very easily and track changes with git.
copy tftp://<ip>/filename system:running-config
We'd like to do the same for the HPE 5900 range; I can get the file on to the switch and that's it. Comware 7.1 does not do the 'execute' suggested in the post below and this isn't covered in the HPE/HP/Cisco command line reference comparision.
The big question is, does Comware have this functionality in the command line?
These commands get the file on to the switch:
<switch>copy tftp://IP/ACLnnn flash:/
or
<switch>tftp IP get ACLnnn
There is this post about using snmp-get which is complicated and from 2013.
Thank you in adavnce.
