Problems to filter traps SNMP
Hi,
I´m trying to configure “mib-view” in a 5500 3com switch (like a h3c5500), but I can´t. I want, for example, sending traps only from giga1/0/3 port.
If I use wireshark to make captures, the trap shows the attached fields. If I add this fields, NMS doesn´t receive traps.
If I add the field 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10 , I can receive traps (though they are not shown in the capture, thing that I can’t understand).
Apparently, port number is 4227641. When I put it (included or excluded) in any oid belonging to interfaces, it stops working and traps stops arriving.
This example works correctly (I receive the trap of all interfaces goes down):
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.3
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.4
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10
This example doesn’t work (I don't receive any trap when an interface goes down):
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.3.0
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.4.1.0
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.3
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.6.3.1.1.5.4
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.4227641
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.7
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.8
snmp-agent mib-view included prueba 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10
Can you help me? I’ve made a lot of tests and can’t understand what is the problem. I would like to send only traps for the port 1/0/3 (4227641)
Kind regards,
