Redirect output of command to a file

HI All,

Not sure if this is correct place to post but here goes.

I would like to rediecrect the output of several commands to text files on my machine, however I do not know how to do this properly

e.g in windows: dir > output.txt

in Linux:  ls -a > output

And in H3C using 7502/7510 - I am interested in display arp and display brief interface commands

I would like to save the ouputs of these commands to a file on my local machine.

Has anybody ever got this working ??
