Remote http Port number for 2924-SFP?

I would like to know what port I need to open/forward in order to remotely connect to my Baseline Switch 2924-SFP Plus over the internet. Also, how can I go about changing the default http port number on the switch?

Most cases its not typical that LAN (L2/L3) switches are reconfigured to use a different port number (80 or 23)for management. In addition most switches don't support changing the Web port number to something else anyway.
The options are (in no particular order)
1 Configure your interent Firewalls public address to forward a Port number of your choosing that is converted to port 80 or 23 to the IP adddress of the switch
2 Use a seperate public IP address from your internet provider and simply forward port 23/80 from that IP address to the LAN IP address of the switch.
3 Create a VPN tunnel to you Firewall and simply manage it swtich with native 23 or 80. This may be the bset option since its entirely secure and only those with the VPN codnfiruration can use it.
Good Luck

I haven't had any luck connecting via the internet from outside the LAN using port 80. I'm not sure why. I have forwarded that port to the lan address of the switch, and have also made sure to change the http port number of the DSL modem that is on that lan to something other then 80. I have also tried forwarding port 443 to the lan of the switch as well, but to no prevail. I will probably end up putting a remote computer on that network and remote connect to that computer, and then access the switch from there.
