setting up HP 20 20 router as console router

My com purchased HP 20 20 router with async card and cables. I need to connect those to the console port of other network equipments. I have done simillar setup with cisco but no experience on the HP routers. The manuals have a method of logging to a web and connect from there. Is there any way where I can use only the cli ?On a cisco I can do telnet <looback ip > line . example telnet 10.1.0.10 2033  . What are the steps to accomplish this ?  I need a way to do the connection via CLI only. Can someone assist pls?
