Switch 3870 SFP port could not work

Hello,

I have one SFP transceiver, and it could work with switch 4200G, but could not work with 3870,

Could anyone know what's the differences between 3870 and 4200G?

Could anyone tell me which PHY chips the 3870 SFP is using?

Which kind media interface 3870 SFP use ? SGMI? SerDes 1000Base-X?

Both Switches would use the same SFP Modules presume 1000BaseSX you are trying to use.  Not sure but look to see if the 3870 has dual personality ports if so disconnect any copper cable from the twin. You might also need to enable the empty SFP Slot.
