Unable to manage 4200 (50-ports)
Hello,
I have 3com switch (4200) 50-port and it's not work. It's don't pass self test and reboot every 12 seconds.
It can't get IP from DHCP, i can't login into web-interface on default ip(169.254.100.100) too. I hope that via console port i'll can manage this, but i wrong.
Via console this switch before rebooting write this message:

Re: Unable to manage 4200 (50-ports)
I would suggest you to try to break the boot sequence using CTRL+B keys, then upload a new firmware version using the X-Modem option at the maximum console speed (115000bps). Remember to set the new boot firmware before reboot the switch after finished the update.
