-US code means that the code is TAA compliant for use by Government agencies.  It can be used by any other customer as well.  US code "usually" comes out a couple of weeks after a release hits.  Not all releases have US versions that follow.

To be TAA compliant, the code must be built in the US but it is more than that.  The source is also reviewed to ensure there are no security concerning issues with it.

Hi,

I was just about to create a post about this subject but for a different equipment (HP 5700 JG894A).

So you can confirm that using the 5700_7.10.R2432P06-US instead of the 5700_7.10.R2432P06 wont change anything, it's just useless since I'm not using those equipments in the United-States but they will keep working fine just like in the 5700_7.10.R2432P06 version ?

It doesn't matter.  -US code is identical to non-US code.  It doesn't matter what platform it is on.  You can run either.
