AP 8760 and WX 3010
Hi,
after converting the AP in fit mode, creating a AP 8760 object in wireless controller, binding a service and enabling the radio, I cannot see the AP in the Run status. It keeps remaining in idle status. The same procedure with an 9152 AP works fine.
Can someone help me, please?
Thanks a lot
G.

Re: AP 8760 and WX 3010
Hi,
I followed these steps about the Access Point:
- Assigned network parameter by dhcp
- By web interface I upgraded the firmware to 8760_02_02_33_1_ww.img, changed the boot mode in managed and then I rebooted the AP
The access point and the wireless controller are in the same subnet and they can ping each other
without any problem.
I can see by telnet to AP this prompt message:
rp> 0x8192c720 (dnsResolveTask): [00081885] INFO : DNS resolution for predefined L3 controller name (3comUWS 81885) failed or returns no address record {rpmstates.c:1742}

Before in rp prompt I typed this command: "c 10.23.0.84" (10.23.0.84 is wireless controller's IP) following the prompt message.
Please...
help me
Thanks a lot

Re: AP 8760 and WX 3010
R3111P10 should be loaded on the controller . On the AP there will be a software file inside this bundle for your AP . Did you upgrade the switch and the AP code in the AC switch was not upgraded ?
