Best Practice config for roaming with HP 850 controller - 'sticky clients'
Hi,
Having problems with 'sticky clients' when roaming with unified 850 controller, whereby clients are hanging onto AP way down the corridor, pings drop and results of speed tests drop dramatically until client finds and connects to new nearest AP.
Nothing has been changed from the default config to improve roaming.
Is there any best practice config to improve roaming ability?
running - Version 5.20.109, Release 2607P51.
thanks,
Leon

Re: Best Practice config for roaming with HP 850 controller - 'sticky clients'
A few firmware release back, an option was introduced to reject sticky clients when the RSSI drops below a certain value.
You can use this CLI-command to enable that function::
wlan option client-reject 15
