Can "Monitor" w WXM after upgrade to 7.x
Was running 6.x on WX4400 and WXM. Upgrades both to 7.x. The switch, AP. WXM etc are all up and running on 7.x. No problems with the Wireless connectivity so the upgrade has been succesful from that persepective.
Before the upgrade all the AP/Radio were showing up under WXM "Monitor" ok. The issus is when i now go to "Monitor" in WXM all 6 AP's and Radios are red and "Down" status. The MAC address, Serial number etc all show up fine.
2 AP have fingerprints the other 4 do not. However all 6 are down.
any ideas

Re: Can "Monitor" w WXM after upgrade to 7.x
Hello,
as a user I would try 3 things in that order :
1) Save Changes - Send Changes to SERVER
then Save/Backup the plan
2) If that does not work, delete the WX switch in question from WXM and reload the WX switch again (rediscover it)
3) You can stop the WXM service and delete the/config-db and then /services-db
then restart the WXM service.
This will cause the WXM configuration from being lost and you will need to rediscover all your WX switch. So this is really a last resort action
WARNING: For point number 3 if you are not familiar with WXM, I would advise you to call 3Com support and they will assist you.

Re: Can "Monitor" w WXM after upgrade to 7.x
I'm not sure if this is still an issue for you or not, but I've had similar situations. Try turn OFF the AP's for no less than 5 minutes. After 5 physical minutes have gone by, then send power back to AP's.
AP's should get its new update and start working again.
Hope this helps :)

Re: Can "Monitor" w WXM after upgrade to 7.x
I'm having a very similar issue after upgrading to ver 7. In
my case is the Switch itself who is showing as down (even
though the wireless network still operational) As a
temporary solution, we restart the wireless switch and then
I can see it again with WXM. I already deleted the config
and services folder and rediscover the switch but no success.
