Hotspot 2.0

Is there any benefit in configuring and using the hotspot functionality in the WX5004 controller and associated AP's?

 

Does anyone have any detailed information on how to set this up to be useful for end users if my WLAN is large private network that has many, many BYOD people currently accessing a free open SSID so they can connect with their smartphones?
