HP A-WX5000 Access Controller Series.
Hi, I'm new to the forum HP and HP Network equipment.
I wonder if I can help with an issue, I have a need WX 5004 and my users are identified.
The WIFI network will be distributed in two forms, one is already identified personnel access within the network and the other is for users outside the network and only have internet access and not the network.
It is possible to do so through a RADIUS or is not compatible?, But if supported, how they can do? if you have any manual to configure the WX 5004.
If you can not configure a RADIUS, you can make a LDAP through? If possible give you access to an LDAP THROUGH like WX 5004 is configured in this case?
Thank you very much.

Re: HP A-WX5000 Access Controller Series.
Yes, It is possible.
http://www.h3c.com/portal/Technical_Support___Documents/Technical_Documents/
Go in WX5000
You can use some users to use your wifi with the network access with internet and others users only access to internet.
The users with access to network : Without ACL in the gateway ( interface vlan of the switch CORE)
SSID with 802.1x authentication
The users without access to network : ACL in the gateway ( interface vlan of the switch CORE ) limiting access of this users only to internet.
SSID with 802.1x authentication + portal
or
SSID with 802.1x authentication
or
SSID with local database authentication with portal
If you prefer, in the second form you can apply the portal feature using a local database or you can use portal feature using the your radius database or if you prefer you can don't apply the portal feature, only create the guest users in your second radius and after the utilization delete thim.
If you prefer a local database, you can create temporarily users and it is very good to the guest users in your network and thim will have only to access to the internet using one specific SSID and the acls create in switch CORE or FireWall.
