Wireless 7760 IP address conflict
Recently I've installed 4 3COM wireless 7760 devices at a client.
Ever since, we had a lot of problems with the network, a lot of popups and notification in the eventviewer of an IP-address conflict.
I noticed that on all the clients the device that triggered the IP conflict had the same MAC-address.
After some searching I found out it was one of the 3COM devices who had that MAC-address. After unplugging that one, an hour later or so it started all over but with another MAC-address, the address of one of the other 3COM devices.
Now I unplugged all four of them and have no more problems, and no more wireless network :)
Anyone an idea on what can cause this?
Thx in advance.

Re: Wireless 7760 IP address conflict
I haven't seen any issues like this but one thing to check is to be sure the "Operation Mode", is set to Access Point and not Wireless Workgroup Bridge.

Re: Wireless 7760 IP address conflict
I've had one device that was configured as an access point, and the three others where configured as Wireless Workgroup Bridge.
I've changed this, hope this solves the problem, but what is then the correct configuration to have one SSID for the four devices? There will be more access points in the future and I want to create one Wifi-netwerk.
