WX3024 & WA2620-AGN Do Not Talk
The WA2620 does download it's image from the controller.
Image download in progress for AP [testap1]
Failed to connect to AC for AP testap1 [Serial-ID 219801A0AA909CG01373]
WA2620-AGN is brand new. Probibly not configured correctly.
Do I need special FIT software for this AP to operate in managed mode
using the WX3024 controller? Auto_AP does not appear to work.
Could somebody please post a basic configuration for a WA2620 ?
Here is my WX3024 config and my WA2620 config.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple.

Re: WX3024 & WA2620-AGN Do Not Talk
With our wx5004, the version of code on the ap and the setup on the controller must match. For example, the version of code on the AP determines whether or not it is allowed to connect. On the wx5004, we use the command "wlan apdb WA2620-AGN Ver.A VX00R0XXBXXD0XX[SPXX]" to tell the controller what version is allowed to connect. If it does not match, it downloads the wa2600a_fit.bin from the controller. If that file is not consistent with the version specified, then you just run in a loop. So....
1.) Check to see if this is an option on your controller. Can be seen in advanced settings/ap in the web version.
2.) Verify the wa2600a_fit.bin on the controller matches the version you specified.
3.) Watch the ap ( in console mode) and you will see a Image Load indication when the ap is downloading the new code.
Outside of that, every AP connects quickly and it works great.

Re: WX3024 & WA2620-AGN Do Not Talk
Solved the problem because the check did not and he continues talking to the AC. What form of registration of the AP in BC are you using? Serial self-id or by inserting the 20 characters?

Re: WX3024 & WA2620-AGN Do Not Talk
I am having the same issue with an H3C WX3024 controller and a WA2612AGN access point. The Controller is at 5.2.0 release 3111P09 , access point is 5.20 1106P15. I get error Failed to connect to AC for AP. Also some times it trys to download the new firmware to the access point but the access point ending up in a rebooting cycle.
How do I fix this?
